Blue Suede Jews: Jews in the Golden Age of Rock 'n' Roll

Richie Unterberger will present "Blue Suede Jews: Jews in the Golden Age of Rock'n'Roll". The lecture will include film clips of major Jewish rock performers such as Lou Reed, Bob Dylan, Simon & Garfunkel, Carole King, Marc Bolan, Lesley Gore, Peter Green of the original Fleetwood Mac, Manfred Mann, and others.

 Admission is free.

Richie Unterberger presents "The British Invasion Part 3," spotlighting rare film clips of British rock acts from 1970-1975. He will feature footage of great UK performers like the Kinks, the Rolling Stones, the Who, Van Morrison, Pink Floyd, the Moody Blues, the Bee Gees, Pentangle, Sandy Denny, David Bowie, Cat Stevens, Rod Stewart, T. Rex, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and others.

Admission is free.

Golden Age of San Francisco Rock


Richie Unterberger shows archival footage of “music scene” of interest with his knowledgeable comments interspersed throughout program. The program that would be the best fit for the San Francisco theme would be San Francisco rock from the mid-'60s to the early '70s (which includes a lot of psychedelic music and folk-rock footage)
